Ben - Project Manager

Already in the customer’s request phase, you come into the picture as a Project Manager. Once an order is confirmed by the customer, a working group is formed with colleagues from Mechanical, Software, and Hardware Engineering. And as Project Manager you guide various topics such as engineering, work preparation, assembly planning, and the overall project schedule. The key is to identify where there is flexibility in the overall planning so that everything can be carried out as efficiently as possible. I am in frequent contact with colleagues from internal departments as well as with the customer and other suppliers involved in the project. Since I, as Project Manager, am the main point of contact throughout the project, I also get to see more of the world, as I regularly visit projects for work. This makes the role both challenging and varied. Every system we install for our customers is unique. Since our customers are located all over the world, you also gain valuable insights into the cultural differences between countries, which is something I really enjoy.
